‘Dad-to-be’ Kwaktube is unveiling his baby’s first 3D ultrasound photo.
On the March 16 episode of SBS’s genre-bending talk show "uh, but like seriously!", travel YouTuber Kwaktube (2.15 million subscribers) drops by and sparks big laughs with the four MCs.
Ahead of his child’s birth, Kwaktube reveals the 3D ultrasound for the first time. “They say daughters always take after their dads, so I couldn’t sleep the night before our gender reveal. I was moved when we found out it was a boy,” he says, turning the studio into a sea of laughter. He then shows the ultrasound photo he always carries. Everyone coos at the cuteness―until they notice the nose and lips are a perfect match for Kwaktube’s, prompting another round of giggles. Viewers can catch the ‘dad’s twin’ moment in the broadcast.
Kwaktube also shares the story behind his first blind date with his now-wife. After hearing her ideal type was “someone as funny as Jung Hyung-don,” he says he prepped a full-on comedy set and kept her laughing for all three hours. When Tak Jae-hoon jokes, “That wasn’t a blind date―that was an audition,” Kwaktube fires back, “I did a lot of wordplay. I learned from watching you, Mr. Tak,” cracking everyone up.
He then draws attention by admitting he’s never given his wife the password to his bank account. “I’m transparent about how much I earn. I’ve saved a lot, so I figured she could just use mine,” he explains, clearing up misunderstandings. When the MCs ask if his wife has a spending limit, he says, “She’s super thrifty. Even if I tell her it’s fine to buy something that costs 5,000 won, she won’t.” The studio descends into chaos as Tak Jae-hoon snaps, “What did you say to her that 5,000 won sounds like a lot?” sparking another wave of laughter.
