A video and photos of WENDY attending a longtime fan’s wedding and performing a surprise serenade have been spreading across social media, racking up millions of views and being hailed by fans as “WENDY’s good-deed story.”
The original poster wrote, “She sang for the bride, who has been her fan since senior year of high school. I’ve watched their love for 10 years, and I cried.”
Another post explained how the serenade happened. According to the account, the bride had once handed WENDY a wedding invitation at a fansign event but didn’t actually expect her to come. After seeing the invitation, WENDY reached out to the groom directly and made the serenade happen. A guest at the ceremony added, “I came to a friend’s wedding, and WENDY showed up to sing for a fan of 14 years,” capturing the emotional scene.
