The “high-end performer” group NOWZ is setting its sights on Japan.
NOWZ released their first Japan EP, NOWZ, today (March 4) on global streaming platforms. Ahead of the album, they dropped a performance video for the new track AMMO (feat. YRD Leo), leaving a bold first impression.
True to its title, the performance video races forward with the punch of a bullet cutting through air. Laser visuals that look like they’re taking aim and glass shattering to the members’ sharp gestures amplify the impact. YRD Leo, a well-known Japanese rapper who features on the track, appears in the video and locks in powerful synergy with NOWZ.
Choreographer Monika of dance crew PROWDMON worked on the performance for AMMO (feat. YRD Leo), drawing attention. After showcasing commanding stage presence last year with "EVERGLOW," "Problem Child," and "HomeRUN," NOWZ is set to captivate fans with an even more advanced, high-impact performance on "AMMO" (feat. YRD Leo).
NOWZ’s first Japan EP, "NOWZ," includes five tracks: the Japan-original AMMO (feat. YRD Leo), plus Japanese versions of fan favorites "HomeRUN," "GET BUCK," "Run with me," and "Fly to the Youth." The project highlights NOWZ’s wide musical range beyond genre lines.
With the EP release, "NOWZ" will kick off local promotions in Japan starting March 5, including TV appearances, media interviews, and fan events. On March 28, they’ll hold their first fan concert, "Run with me, NOW," in Korea, continuing active promotions at home and abroad.
