The film "The King's Warden" is powering into its fifth week and aiming not just to hit 10 million admissions―but to surpass it.
According to the Korean Film Council’s box office tracker on the 4th, "The King's Warden" drew 194,493 moviegoers nationwide on the 3rd. Its cumulative admissions now stand at 9,407,833.
Even in week five, the daily audience is hovering near 200,000, showing no signs of slowing down. A 10-million milestone this week looks all but certain, and the current pace puts a 12-million finish within reach.
Box office No. 2, "HUMINT", has slipped to the 10,000s in daily admissions, underlining just how dominant "The King's Warden" is right now. With no clear challenger on the immediate slate, it’s not just filling a gap―it’s commanding theaters with overwhelming momentum.
If it crosses 10 million, it would mark the first film to do so in two years since "Exhuma" in 2024. How many viewers "The King's Warden" can pull in over its fifth weekend will likely be the key barometer for its final tally.
