Actor Moon Chae-won returns to SBS’s "My Little Old Boy" for the first time in five years.
Set to air on March 1, the episode features Moon as the special MC, bringing a flutter to the studio.
When Moon appeared during the recent recording, the Mother Avengers gushed, “We thought a doll just walked in,” and “She’s so beautiful.” MC Shin Dong-yup added that she’s the actress who best embodies “pure” and “elegant,” welcoming her back. Returning after about five years, Moon reportedly captivated the studio with her unchanged visuals and calm charm.
Shin Dong-yup recalled how Moon made Seo Jang-hoon’s heart skip a beat five years ago, referencing a much-talked-about moment from her past appearance. Back then, Moon flashed a heart-melting eye smile at Seo and teased, “Hey! Give me a building,” making him swoon. This time, Shin asked her to try, “Hey, you’ve got 4 trillion, right? Lend me 1 trillion.” Locking eyes with Seo, Moon recreated the moment with, “Jang-hoon, lend me 1 trillion,” paired with that same fluttery eye smile―sending Seo’s heart racing again. Seeing his beaming grin, the studio buzzed, joking, “He looks like he might actually hand it over.”
When Moon was asked the show’s signature question―“If you had to meet one of the 'My Little Old Boy' sons, who would it be?”―a playful tension filled the room. The Mom-vengers, fully smitten, stared at her in anticipation. After some thought, Moon picked one person. A friendly tug-of-war reportedly broke out among the moms whose sons weren’t chosen. They boasted, “Our son is family-oriented,” and “You’d never get bored living with him,” keeping the laughs coming.
Contrary to her gentle image, Moon shows a different side with her easygoing banter. Catch it all on "My Little Old Boy" on March 1 at 9 p.m.
