SBS’s "Finding Genius" is coming back after seven years.
Arriving in April, "Finding Genius: Infinity" goes a step beyond “discovering” talent. It’s a generation-spanning project that follows gifted kids into their growth and real-life changes. Drawing on years of production know-how, the show spotlights six powerhouse fields and builds stories around each field’s standout prodigy. It won’t stop at a single “discovery.” Instead, it will capture how talent develops―blending variety-show fun with documentary depth.
The MC lineup is a draw, too. Actor Cha Tae-hyun, OH MY GIRL’s MIMI, and creator Mimiminu join as hosts to amplify empathy and reactions, connecting viewers to what’s happening on set.
Cha Tae-hyun brings relatable dad-energy and steady hosting. MIMI lifts the mood with bright, vivid energy. Mimiminu, tuned into 2026’s sensibilities, will spotlight the realities and futures facing “today’s prodigies.”
"Finding Genius: Infinity" will also revisit prodigies introduced in past seasons―showing where they are now in ongoing, present-tense stories. At the same time, it follows new prodigies growing up in 2026―their environments, their dreams―and captures a “time of talent,” where one era’s genius inspires the next.
Returning after seven years, "Finding Genius: Infinity" promises the real stories behind “natural-born talent.” The first episode airs in April.
