Singer Kim Da-hyun has been appointed publicity ambassador for the Korea Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organizations.

At the federation’s 65th regular general meeting, held on the 25th at the Grand Theater (2F) of the Korea Artists Center, Kim received her official letter of appointment as an ambassador.

Chairman Cho Gang-hoon said, “Based on her outstanding talent and positive influence in popular culture, Kim Da-hyun is the right person to significantly contribute to advancing and elevating the arts,” explaining the reason for her selection. Kim will serve as ambassador for the next two years.

“It’s deeply meaningful―and a big responsibility―to become an ambassador for the Korea Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organizations, a group founded to protect artists’ rights,” Kim shared. “I’ll actively promote the federation and work together to advance artists’ rights,” she added in thanks.

Starting March 7 at Kyung Hee University’s Grand Peace Hall in Seoul, Kim will meet fans at her first solo concert since debut, "Dream," which continues on March 14 at KBS Hall in Busan and March 28 at Yeungnam University’s Cheonma Art Center in Daegu.
