IVE’s JANGWONYOUNG has donated a total of 200 million won to Severance Hospital to support treatment for pediatric and adolescent patients.
On the 11th, Severance Hospital said JANGWONYOUNG decided to donate to help kids her own fans’ age―supporting their treatment, recovery, and positive growth so they can build a brighter future.
The donation will be used as follows: 100 million won for the Severance Children’s Hospital development fund, and 100 million won for the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine development fund at Gangnam Severance Hospital.
Lee Sang-gil, head of external affairs at the Yonsei University Health System, said, “We are deeply grateful for this meaningful act of generosity for our patients,” adding, “We will use the funds with care so they can directly support the children’s treatment and recovery.”
Meanwhile, IVE recently released “BANG BANG,” the pre-release track from their second full album, "REVIVE+."
