Musical star Ock Joo-hyun has wrapped her run in "Red Book" and opened up about the encouragement she received from her castmates.

On the 9th, Ock wrote on her social media, “It was so, so precious. Thank you for letting me live inside the very best time. Everyone. And the letters you sent after the final curtain that made me burst into tears. Until the end, 'Red Book' hugged me with 'Red Book' hearts and 'Red Book' words, just like the people of the 'Red Book' world. As always. Thank you so much for everything.”

Ock shared the role of Anna in "Red Book" with Ivy and Min Kyung-ah. "Red Book" 2025 opened at Universal Art Center last September and closed after its final performance in Suwon on February 8.

In the photos, Ock poses warmly with the co-stars she shared the stage with. She also revealed part of a letter from a colleague. One excerpt read, “I’m grateful that we all have the strength to withstand rough waves, and I hope we can stay together until the lies fall silent.”

Previously, Ock was at the center of controversy over alleged performance allocation and casting interference in the musicals "Elisabeth" and "Anna Karenina."

On January 28, she posted a photo in an orange prison uniform on her social media with the caption, “Prisoner. My crime? That I am Ock Joo-hyun.” Many musical fans interpreted it as her expressing frustration over the recent controversy about "Anna Karenina" performance distribution.
