Kakao Entertainment’s global K-pop media brand 1theK is teaming up with girl group KiiiKiii for a special original detective show, "KiiiKiii MYSTERY CLUB".
"KiiiKiii MYSTERY CLUB" throws the members into puzzling crime scenes where they hunt for clues and crack the case. Known for commanding the stage with fierce performances, the members will drop the stage persona and show their unfiltered, real selves as they bumble, brainstorm, and battle their way to the truth.
Episode 1, out on the 6th, follows KiiiKiii as they arrive bright-eyed at a company they were invited to visit. The fun doesn’t last long. When they open an office door, they discover the company CEO already dead. Screams ring out. The site instantly flips into a crime scene, and the members shift into investigation mode to chase down a mystery full of unanswered questions. After the initial shock, each member switches on her “detective radar” in her own way.
They zero in on people close to the CEO―like the secretary who had the most direct contact and the head of the CEO’s task-force team―as prime suspects. From open offices to conference rooms, they scour every corner of the company and gradually narrow the suspect list with hilariously chaotic deductions. With five distinct play styles and quick-fire chemistry, the show serves up laugh-out-loud moments and edge-of-your-seat tension in equal measure.
Above all, the must-watch draw of "KiiiKiii MYSTERY CLUB" is the members’ five wildly different, true-to-self characters. Leader JIYU stays calm and collected, spotting crucial clues at key moments. Curiosity powerhouse LEESOL transforms into a “question-mark assassin,” drilling into every gap in the case. SUI is the scene-stealing mood-maker who lightens the tension right when things get intense. HAUM may scare easily, but she still plays a major part in cracking the case. And KYA―the golden maknae and a die-hard mystery-variety fan―dashes around as the delightfully unpredictable action lead. Together, their standout personalities create uniquely addictive fun.
Even the teaser, released on January 30, sparked buzz. Fans are hyped to see sides of KiiiKiii you can only catch in a detective show.
