DAY6’s YOUNG K is making a surprise voice appearance on "Animal Farm".
He’ll join the SBS show on February 8 with a special dubbing role. The opportunity came through his personal connection with voice actor Nam Do-hyung.
YOUNG K’s recorded voice for "Animal Farm" will be revealed for the first time during the broadcast. Fans are curious which animal or character he’ll be voicing. A behind-the-scenes video from the recording session is also set to drop separately on YOUNG K’s personal YouTube channel.
YOUNG K is known for a solid, steady delivery built on years of live performance and for nuanced emotional expression. Voice actor Nam Do-hyung has worked across animation, foreign films, and, more recently, projects like "Culinary Class Wars" and "Animal Farm", earning recognition across the industry and with the public.
During the earlier recording, YOUNG K practiced several characters and successfully wrapped the dubbing session, ultimately getting the green light for one character. “That one short line made me more nervous than I expected,” he said with a laugh, calling it a fresh experience. Watching from the studio, Nam Do-hyung praised him: “It’s charming. I want to try it too,” complimenting YOUNG K’s tone and delivery.
