Actor Park Jung-min didn’t hold back on his gratitude for co-star Shin Sae-kyoung, his romance partner in the film "HUMINT".

At the "HUMINT" press screening and Q&A held at CGV Yongsan in Seoul on the afternoon of the 4th, Park said, “The character I play, Park Geon, has one clear purpose in the film: Seon-hwa. The actor playing Seon-hwa is Shin Sae-kyoung, and throughout filming I kept thinking about how Park Geon would move straight toward her.”

On their on-screen chemistry, he shared, “Even though 'HUMINT' was my first time meeting Shin Sae-kyoung on set, she opened her heart early on. I’m really thankful for that. It helped me feel comfortable, and we were able to have frequent, in-depth talks about the project. There isn’t a special trick to doing romance well beyond leaning on each other and staying laser-focused on set.”

Park added, “I’m incredibly lucky that Shin Sae-kyoung played Seon-hwa. I’m truly grateful.”

Shin Sae-kyoung echoed the sentiment. “My performance in this film felt very different from the romance projects I’ve done before, so I was excited,” she said. “Knowing I’d be acting opposite Park Jung-min made it even more thrilling and fun.”

"HUMINT" follows a clash of people with different agendas in Vladivostok, where both secrets and truths are swallowed by the icy sea. The film opens on the 11th.
