FC Streaming Fighter on “Kick a Goal” just got a major power-up with a wave of new faces, evolving into a fully loaded fighter squad.
On the February 4 episode of SBS’s “Kick a Goal,” the second Group B qualifier of the 2nd G League airs. It’s FC Gucheokjangsin, known for towering height, versus FC Streaming Fighter, famed for raw strength ― a matchup primed for sparks to fly.
These two “physical powerhouse” teams are dead even with a 2-2 head-to-head record. Both also rebuilt their rosters, making this another unpredictable clash. With upgraded lineups, which side will claim true physical dominance?
FC Streaming Fighter reinforced in a big way. Joining are national team wrestler Jang Eun-sil, fresh off a win on a recent physical survival show; Park Joo-a, selected by the U.S. women’s pro baseball league (WPBL) and dubbed a “major leaguer”; and “ModriChun” Yoon Tae-jin, formerly of FC Anaconda.
Jang and Park, who drew praise from multiple coaches during the “Kick a Goal Audition,” are set to make their official league debuts. The youngest player on “Kick a Goal,” Park wowed with poise and technique beyond her years, prompting fans in the stands to cheer, “A new future for Streaming Fighter has arrived.” The gritty Yoon Tae-jin added, “I’ll play with everything I’ve got to do my part,” matching the team’s fighter mentality. Will this trio deliver a statement win for FC Streaming Fighter?
New head coach Cho Jae-jin is shaking things up to counter the height of FC Gucheokjangsin. He’s shelving his usual build-up style for bold “infinite position switching,” leveraging players who can cover both ends. He’s also demanding his trademark aggressive game plan, signaling a ruthless all-out attack.
In a surprise move, “physical closer” Jang Eun-sil will start in goal. Using wrestling-honed lower-body power and balance, she’s set to lock down the net. Can Streaming Fighter’s tactical gamble flip the game script?
Catch FC Streaming Fighter’s revamped kickoff tonight (the 4th) at 9 p.m. on “Kick a Goal.”
