Actor Park Jung-min ended up playing messenger between Hwang Jung-min and Lee Kwang-soo after a viral awards-show moment sparked a mini panic.

On the February 3 episode of SBS’ variety series 'Whenever Possible,' hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok team up with Jo In-sung, Park Hae-joon, and Park Jung-min for an adrenaline-fueled romp around Seoul’s Gangdong District.

Park charges in with swagger, declaring himself a “born competitor” and backing it up with clutch plays that have the set buzzing. “Jung-min’s the king of games today―king!” Jo In-sung marvels, as Park’s touch stays hot throughout the challenges.

But even monkeys fall from trees. When Park’s streak wobbles and he starts toying with the group, Yoo Jae-suk snaps him back in line with a playful “Jung-min, what are you doing?” Jo In-sung ups the bit, joking, “Go get some air for five minutes,” sending everyone into hysterics. Duly humbled―and hyped―Park rediscovers his groove, laughing that the dopamine rush might keep him up all night.

Park also drops a backstage story linking Hwang Jung-min and Lee Kwang-soo. After a clip from a recent awards show―where Hwang appeared to shut down Lee’s cheeky reaction―blew up online, Lee privately sent the meme to Park and asked, “Was Hwang Jung-min actually mad?” Park admits he couldn’t stop laughing, but he checked directly with Hwang, who assured him it was all in good fun. Once Park relayed the message, Lee finally relaxed. Yoo Jae-suk bursts out laughing at the tale: “You actually asked him? That’s hilarious.”

Will self-proclaimed game ace Park Jung-min live up to the title? Find out when 'Whenever Possible' airs Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. on SBS.
