Gwang-su (real name Baek Sang-yeop), who drew buzz on Season 28 of ENA and SBS Plus’ dating series "I Am Solo", is taking on a new chapter―following an album release, he’s now launching his own matchmaking company.
He shared the news directly on YouTube, cheekily introducing himself as “a guy obsessed with love.” Explaining why he founded the agency, he added, “These days, dating can feel like it’s all about checklists and status. I wanted to help more people experience life-changing, real love―like I did.”
On the show’s divorced-singles special, Gwang-su became a final couple with Jung-hee (real name Kim Seul-gi), a dentist and single mom, earning major support from viewers. The two are currently dating, and Jung-hee has been actively cheering on and promoting his new venture.
Last month, Gwang-su also turned heads with an album release. He co-wrote and co-composed the track “With,” performed by singer Jin Minho, a song he says captures the feelings he discovered after meeting Jung-hee.
During "I Am Solo", he revealed he’d spent more than a decade leading A&R and overseeing album production for artists.
On the 31st, he’ll host a free talk concert in Gangnam titled “Beyond 'I Am Solo': The Life and Love of Baek Sang-yeop.” Season 28’s Jung-hee will appear as a special guest to share “the moments when love becomes real,” while fellow Season 28 alums Young-cheol and Young-ja―now a married couple―will join to deliver the message that “it’s never too late to start love again.”
