Billlie’s MOON SUA, 26, honored her late brother MOON BIN on what would have been his birthday, just weeks before the third anniversary of his passing.
On the 26th, she shared a childhood photo on social media with the message, “Happy birthday, my one and only big brother.”
In the picture, SUA wears pink pajamas and MOON BIN wears blue as the siblings grin and throw their arms around each other―a sweet snapshot of their bond that makes her tribute all the more poignant. She posted a similar birthday message for him last year as well.
MOON BIN, a member of ASTRO, died on April 19, 2023, at age 25. The pair had become one of K-pop’s most beloved idol siblings soon after debut. Following her brother’s sudden passing, MOON SUA paused activities before returning to the stage and resuming a busy schedule.
She has spoken multiple times about how the two dreamed of becoming singers from a young age and how she leaned on him through their long trainee years.
Just three months before his death, MOON BIN appeared with SUA on the MBC variety series "DNA Mate." After a bungee jump, he shouted, “SUA, I hope 2023 is full of happiness. You got this!”―a moment that captured his unwavering love for his sister.
