On the January 27 episode of SBS’s "Whenever Possible", co-hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok team up with actors Lee Sun-bin and Kim Young-dae for a high-energy day around Seoul’s Bongcheon-dong neighborhood.
Strolling through old haunts, Yoo Jae-suk cracks open memories of his scrappy era. “I couldn’t afford much back then, so I walked everywhere,” he says with a laugh. “We’d save up and grab blood sausage in Sillim.” The down-to-earth routine from his broke days has the group in stitches.
Lee Sun-bin shares her own Bongcheon-dong chapter, recalling her first place on her own. “I didn’t know how to apartment-hunt, so I signed at night―turned out my ‘view’ was a brick wall when I opened the window,” she jokes, adding that the experience is why she now insists on big windows.
The conversation turns to sibling dynamics―another bonding point for Yoo and Lee. Both grew up in brother-sister households: Yoo has a younger sister, while Lee has an older brother. “I only ever heard he was doing well,” Lee admits. “We’ve started getting closer recently.” Yoo nods in agreement: “With brothers and sisters, a quick check-in is enough,” which sends the duo’s co-host Yoo Yeon-seok―who comes from an all-brothers family―into laughter.
From nostalgic walk-and-talks to real-life sibling confessions, the chemistry between Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Sun-bin promises easy banter and plenty of heart. "Whenever Possible" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on SBS.
