Feature film “Florence Knockin' On You” (directed by Lee Chang-yeol) is set to screen at the Florence Korea Film Fest.
The movie has been officially invited to the festival’s Special Screening section at the 24th edition, taking place in Florence, Italy this March―a fitting homecoming for a story set and shot in the city.
A road movie at heart, “Florence Knockin' On You” follows Seok-in as he returns to the city that once fueled his youthful passion, finding reunion and healing along the way. Kim Min-jong and Ye Ji-won lead the cast. The film opened in Korea on January 7 and has drawn about 20,000 admissions nationwide to date.
Festival organizers have locked the screening schedule: on Monday, March 23 at 8 p.m. local time, the film will be followed by a roughly 30-minute post-screening Q&A. The next day, Tuesday, March 24 at 4 p.m., the team will meet local moviegoers at a fan-focused session.
Launched in 2002, the Florence Korea Film Fest has grown into a marquee event spotlighting Korean culture in Florence and a must-see destination for K-cinema enthusiasts across Italy.
