Kicking off the new year’s box office alongside fellow melodrama "Once We Were Us", "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight" is helping breathe life into theaters. Defying the notion that romance is a tough sell, both films are holding strong: "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight", which opened a week earlier, has already recouped, while "Once We Were Us" is closing in on its reported break-even point of roughly 1 million admissions. Notably, "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight" has been drawing robust support from teen audiences.

Based on Ichijo Misaki’s bestselling novel, which has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide, the film follows Seo-yoon (Shin Si-a), who loses her memories every day, and Jae-won (Choo Young-woo), who faithfully fills in the blanks―two young souls holding on to each other as they try to remember what matters most.
