With BTS gearing up for a full-group return, anticipation is surging across international media.

The group will release its fifth studio album on March 20, followed by a massive world tour. The new era arrives after roughly three years and nine months, and global fans are already counting down. Major outlets have spotlighted the move and what it means for pop at large.

CBS News, Complex, People, and U.K. music magazine NME all covered BTS’s comeback and tour plans. Billboard framed it as “the moment a colossal K-pop act returns after nearly four years away.”

The Washington Post said BTS is “ready to set 2026 ablaze like ‘Dynamite,’” while Variety noted that fans aren’t just waiting for winter to end―they’re already dreaming of spring―underscoring the emotional weight of the group’s return.

L’Officiel Singapore added that the comeback “goes beyond what the fandom has been hoping for,” emphasizing BTS’s central role in bringing K-pop into the global mainstream. The outlet predicted that the seven members reuniting “will stand as one of the most defining moments in modern pop music.”

BTS’s fifth LP arrives March 20 and features 14 tracks that channel the emotions and reflections gathered over the group’s journey―along with heartfelt messages for the fans who stayed by their side.
