BTS just lit the fuse on their full-group comeback ― right in the heart of Seoul.

On Jan. 5, the grand staircase at Sejong Center near Gwanghwamun Plaza was transformed into a massive teaser for the group, wrapped with the new album logo, its March 20 release date, and the BTS name. The choice of venue ― one of Korea’s signature cultural landmarks ― turned heads across the city.

BigHit Music said the group “grew from Korea to the global stage,” and, with their long-awaited return as a full seven, chose an offline promotion in central Seoul to honor those roots. The label added that the outdoor campaign will expand to major cities worldwide, including New York, Tokyo and London.

Crowning the steps is a striking sculpture of the new logo ― a selfie magnet that’s drawing crowds. The emblem first surfaced in handwritten letters the group mailed to ARMY around the world. With its meaning still under wraps, fans are trading theories and decoding clues as anticipation builds for the comeback.

BTS will release their fifth full-length album on March 20, marking their first full-group return in about three years and nine months. The 14-track set promises a concentrated look at “BTS right now,” channeling the emotions and reflections forged along their journey. All seven members will launch a major world tour after the album drops, with concert details to be announced on the 14th via global superfan platform Weverse.
