Netflix’s animated feature "KPop Demon Hunters" nabbed two wins at the Critics Choice Awards, taking home Best Animated Feature and Best Song.

On the 4th (local time), the 31st Critics Choice Awards unfolded in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. "KPop Demon Hunters" beat out "Zootopia 2," "Elio," "In Your Dreams" and "Arco" to clinch Best Animated Feature, and also scored Best Song with its Billboard-smashing track “Golden.”

With strong buzz heading into the Golden Globes and the Oscars―particularly in Best Animated Feature and Original Song―the Critics Choice double win further turbocharges the film’s awards-season momentum.

Meanwhile, in the live-action categories, Korean film "No Other Choice," considered a dark horse, left empty-handed. It was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film and Adapted Screenplay, but those prizes went to "The Secret Agent" and Paul Thomas Anderson for "One Battle After Another," respectively.

The Critics Choice Awards are organized by the Critics Choice Association (CCA), which includes roughly 600 television and film critics and journalists across North America.
