Actor Jo Yoon-woo (34) is stepping away from the spotlight―and tying the knot.

On Jan. 1, the actor shared photos with his fiancee on social media and revealed he’s closing the curtain on his acting career. “After a lot of thought, I’ve met someone I want to spend my life with,” he wrote. “To build a simple, private life together, I’ve decided to end my 15-year journey as an actor.”

He reflected on the choice, adding, “I debuted at 21 and have run toward nothing but acting for 15 years. Because those years mean so much to me, I wanted to take my time before telling you this.”

Jo also celebrated his relationship: “For the first time, I want to spend the rest of my life protecting someone―and having fun while we do it. Please cheer on the everyday life I’ll share with my precious partner and best friend of over four years.”
