Actor Lee Je-hoon closed out 2025 in blockbuster fashion, nabbing his second career Grand Prize at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards.
The live ceremony kicked off at 8:50 p.m. KST on Dec. 31 at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Sangam district, where Lee took home the night’s highest honor for "Taxi Driver 3."
Now in its third season, "Taxi Driver" has continued to defy franchise fatigue, posting big ratings and fervent viewer buzz. After sharing the top honor with Kim Tae-ri in 2023, Lee stood alone this year with a solo win.
Thanking the creative team, cast and crew who built "Taxi Driver" through three seasons, Lee said, “I always want to act better, but the more I do it, the tougher it gets. There are times I think, ‘Maybe this is my limit.’ Whenever that happens, my fans give me strength. Because of them, I can keep going. I’m incredibly grateful.”
He added, tearing up, “This series has lasted more than five years because of our viewers. Your boundless love―your empathy and outrage every week―let us keep writing this wild, genre-blending fantasy action story. Thank you.”
