Seo Beom-jun and Shin Seul-gi picked up Supporting awards at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards.

The ceremony, broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Mapo District at 8:50 p.m. on Dec. 31, honored the duo with Supporting trophies in the Romantic Comedy Miniseries category.

Both actors earned buzz this year for their turns in the drama “Uju, Marry Me,” sharing the spotlight as co-winners.

Seo admitted he didn’t expect to hear his name. “I came tonight thinking I’d present and catch up with my ‘Uju, Marry Me’ family―I didn’t imagine I’d be taking home a trophy,” he said, looking stunned.

“Last year I stood here as Best New Actor and wondered when I’d be back,” he added, thanking the entire “Uju, Marry Me” team and his agency for the support.

“I know I have a long way to go,” Seo continued. “I’ll keep my head down, give my best every day, and stay true to where I started,” he said, sharing gratitude for his family and fans.

Shin kept it candid in her speech. “I thought I’d be clapping for everyone else since I missed out on Newcomer earlier―but thank you so much for this Supporting award,” she said.

She went on to thank the teams behind “Uju, Marry Me” and “Haunted Palace,” adding, “We battled brutal cold and sweltering heat this year. I want to share this honor with our crew, who fought through it all.”

“I worked nonstop through 2025, and what kept me going was pure determination,” Shin said. “I’ll keep that beginner’s mindset and keep pushing as an actor.”
