Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is stepping up to help children stay warm this winter.

UNICEF Korea announced that Ahn has donated 50 million won to support children around the world.

Ahn has been consistent in his philanthropy, lending his time to the 2024 “UNICEF Team” campaign and making a 50 million won donation in honor of Children’s Day.

The funds will provide humanitarian aid to children affected by war, disasters, poverty, and disease. In particular, the donation will help rush emergency winter supplies to kids at risk from extreme cold and support safe spaces where they can continue their basic education―crucial for restoring a sense of normalcy and keeping hope alive after crises.

“We are deeply grateful to Ahn Hyo-seop for once again offering meaningful support for children this year,” said Jo Mi-jin, Secretary-General of UNICEF Korea. “His generous contribution and heartfelt support will bring warmth and hope to vulnerable children around the world enduring a harsh winter.”
