Former AOA member Kwon Mina has parted ways with Modenberry Korea less than a month after signing an exclusive contract.

Industry sources said Dec. 22 that Kwon and Modenberry Korea mutually agreed to end the deal. As a result, the music project she had been preparing with Modenberry trainee Ha Min-gi has been canceled.

Modenberry Korea previously announced on Dec. 15 that Kwon and Ha planned to drop a holiday single in January 2026. The release would have marked Kwon’s first new music in about seven years since her AOA exit, but it will no longer move forward following the contract termination. Ha, who drew attention as the grandson of the founder of the popular Korean chain Shinjeon Tteokbokki, had been part of the project.

Not everything on Kwon’s schedule is on pause, though. Her first-ever solo fan meeting in her 13 years since debut is still set for January.

Kwon debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019.
