K-pop group CORTIS is kicking off the new year on the cover of a fashion glossy.
GQ Korea just unveiled six January 2026 covers―one group and five solo―featuring CORTIS in collaboration with Dior, rolling them out across its socials and website.
Against a stately backdrop, the quintet leans into a free-spirited mood, pulling off unexpected pairings―think classic shirts and velvet jackets with lived-in denim. With visuals worthy of an old-master painting and bold touches like silk neck bands, the styling doubles down on the group’s distinct charm. On their solo covers, the members’ easy confidence shines through, whether they’re holding a steady gaze or lounging back in frame.
The accompanying interview appears in the members’ own handwriting. Asked what they want most right now, they write, “An album that sharpens our color.” They add, “We love music so much that even cutting sleep to spend more time making it doesn’t feel hard,” underscoring their grind in the studio.
One of the oldest notes in their phones reads, “Make rap rhymes fun; it’s better when the story is tight,” alongside lyrics they wrote back in trainee days. Across their answers, the “young creator crew” spirit comes through as they co-craft music, choreography, and visuals. They even name Michael Jackson―and dinosaurs―as dream friends, keeping things delightfully off-beat.
