Actor Jung Jun-won is stepping up to the mic as host of the 2025 Korea Content Awards―marking his first-ever awards show gig.
Presented today, the ceremony is organized by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), celebrating standout work that’s powered the growth of the country’s content industry and spotlighting the creators behind it.
On the mic, Jung is expected to blend his easygoing charm with steady live-show poise and quick wit, signaling his emergence as a next-gen MC to watch.
He’s been busy across the dial lately: Jung showed effortless variety chops on MBC’s "Arcance" and took the stage as a presenter at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards on Nov. 15, earning praise for his calm, confident delivery.
The 2025 Korea Content Awards will be held this evening at COEX in Seoul.
Jung has also kept momentum going across drama, variety and fan events this year. On tvN’s "Resident Playbook," he drew warm response as Gu Do-won. He also wrapped a successful run of fan meetings―from the “2025 Jung Jun-won Fan Meeting: The ONE day” in Seoul to a stop in Taipei―cementing his rise as a global star.
