BTS’ JUNGKOOK and RM signaled a return to normalcy with a low-key, late-night ramyeon hangout, cooling off the recent noise around the group.
On Dec. 10 (KST), JUNGKOOK reposted a social media update from RM featuring a steaming bowl of ramyeon. RM tagged JUNGKOOK in the snap, hinting the two shared a midnight snack, and JUNGKOOK amplified it by resharing the post―subtly confirming the after-hours meetup.
The post followed dating rumors linking JUNGKOOK to aespa’s WINTER, which spread as neither side issued an official comment. Around the same time, RM sparked debate during a live stream after wondering aloud whether disbanding might have ever been the better path, leaving parts of the fandom rattled.
RM later apologized, saying he was sorry for tiring fans, regretted going live on impulse, and asked supporters to cut him a little slack.
Despite the chatter, HYBE’s stock barely budged. Observers note that as a 12-year veteran act, BTS is largely resilient to flare-ups like these―and the conversation may even be fueling anticipation for an eventual full-group comeback rather than dampening it.
