The sons of "My Little Old Boy" are flipping the script: for the first time in the show’s nine-year run, they’re taking seats in the studio to watch their moms’ getaway in real time.
On the Dec. 7 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy", Seo Jang-hoon and Tak Jae-hoon lead the show’s beloved “Mom Avengers” on a special trip to Okinawa, Japan. With the moms on the road, the sons will make their first-ever group appearance in the studio to witness the “Seo Jang-hoon x Tak Jae-hoon Tour” unfold ― promising a fresh twist for fans.
At a recent taping, HeeChul, Lee Dong-gun, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Heo Kyung-hwan filled in for the Mom Avengers on the panel. Host Shin Dong-yup greeted them with a laugh, quipping that it had been a while since he’d seen the boys in the studio in broad daylight.
Awkward at first, the four quickly loosened up and turned the set into a riot. Choi Jin-hyuk joked, “This might be my chance to talk behind my mom’s back,” teasing playful revenge. HeeChul aired some long-held gripes with the hosts before pleading, “Whatever you do, please don’t tell my mom,” sending the studio into hysterics and leaving viewers curious about what he let slip.
Watching the itinerary crafted by Seo and Tak, the sons admitted to mixed feelings ― equal parts excitement and nerves. Known for their opposite personalities, Seo and Tak planned the trip their own way: Seo curated a moms-approved daytime tour, while Tak claimed the night shift, vowing to focus purely on nightlife. They even upped the stakes with a bold bet: the side that scores lower with the moms will have to show his home on camera. Seeing the oil-and-water duo team up, the sons wondered which style the moms would love more.
The first-ever studio takeover by the sons ― and the special “Jang-Tak Tour” ― airs Sunday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. on SBS’s "My Little Old Boy".
