VERIVERY is kicking off Chapter Two. On Dec. 1, the boy band returned with its fourth single, "Lost and Found", marking a comeback after two and a half years and a fresh re-signing with Jellyfish Entertainment. The group says it’s ready to reclaim what went missing―channeling the uniquely Korean emotion of “han” (a deep well of sorrow and resolve)―and bloom again onstage.

The title track, “RED,” reimagines The Four Seasons’ classic “Beggin’,” rebuilding it with breakbeat pulse, heavy bass and taut strings for a sleek, modern punch. The single also includes “MT,” a hyperpop-leaning cut laced with hip-hop, and “Cotton Candy,” a fan song led by DONGHEON and GYEHYEON. After renewed attention from Mnet’s "Boys Planet 2", VERIVERY is stepping back into the spotlight it’s been itching for.

Reflecting on the hiatus, DONGHEON―who served in the military―shared, “Whenever I got leave, we’d talk a lot. Everyone had this burning need to be performers again, to be onstage. It was frustrating when we couldn’t resolve that. I’m just happy we’re finally getting those moments to shine as players on the stage again.”

This year, three members competed on Mnet’s survival series "Boys Planet 2". They didn’t make the final lineup, but the skill on display left a strong impression on K-pop fans. KANGMIN, who finished just shy of debut at No. 9, earned a wave of support for his stage presence and drive.

“After such a long break, my confidence had dipped,” KANGMIN admits of joining the show. “But I wanted to communicate with the audience from the stage again. Even though I was eliminated, luck was on my side in many ways, and the experience itself was invaluable.” Would he do it again? “Absolutely.”

While the show aired, non-participating members YEONHO and YONGSEUNG cheered their bandmates on publicly. “Watching them tap back into their roots and grind again made me proud,” YEONHO says. “It also motivated me―whether they came back or not―to push myself harder.”

That urgency to get back onstage fueled the new single―and the group put “han” front and center to say what words alone couldn’t.

“Even as trainees, we carried a ‘han’―a longing to be loved―that never really left,” the group shares. “It’s a theme that speaks powerfully for who we are right now, something meaningful we can pass on to people. That’s why we chose it boldly.”

Momentum is building: VERIVERY sold out fan meetings in Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo, turning their sixth anniversary into a true reset. Looking ahead, YEONHO lays out the goals: “We want that No. 1 on a music show. We’ve hit Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales before; this time, we want to play on bigger charts―and crack the Top 100 on Korea’s streaming charts. We want this to be the highlight of our career.”

KANGMIN adds, “We’re going to communicate with fans in more ways and take the lead in giving the public what they want from us. Both we and the company are listening closely. We’ll keep pushing for more―on every front.”
