Park Ji-hyeon, 28, now starring on TVING’s "EXchange 4", is trending after fans resurfaced her 2016 appearance on KBS1’s quiz show "Challenge! Golden Bell".
Clips from the show’s 800th episode―filmed at Hanlim Arts High School―have been making the rounds online. In the throwback, Park appears several times looking every bit the fresh-faced high schooler, and she impressively answers questions up to No. 31, showing sharp smarts to match the nostalgia.
The same episode also featured ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo―credited then by his birth name, Lee Dong-min―"SKY Castle" actress Park Yoo-na, and MYTEEN’s Song Yuvin, prompting fans to dub it a “legendary Hanlim lineup.” Park and Cha Eun-woo were classmates at the time.
After graduating from the Korea National University of Arts with a degree in acting, Park spent about a decade working as an actress, appearing in projects like VIP. More recently, she’s taught acting at an arts high school. On "EXchange 4", she appears alongside ex-boyfriend Jung Won-gyu and is quickly becoming a breakout favorite.
