Jang Ki-yong kicks off a scheme to push Ahn Eun-jin out in "Dynamic Kiss"
SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday rom-com "Dynamic Kiss" (written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min; directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo) is already a buzzy hit, debuting as the No. 1 weekday drama across Korean broadcast and cable. On Netflix, it ranked No. 1 among Korean series domestically as of Nov. 16 and No. 3 globally among non-English shows for the week of Nov. 10?16.
Previously, Jang’s character, Gong Ji-hyeok, was desperate to find Go Da-rim (Ahn) after a kiss that hit like a force of nature―only for the pair to reunite in the most unlikely place: a job interview, with him as the interviewer and her as the applicant. To make ends meet, Da-rim is disguising herself as a married mom, leading Ji-hyeok to a spectacular misunderstanding about who she really is―and setting the stage for their awkward second first impression.
Ahead of Episode 3, producers dropped new stills of the duo facing off at a baby-products company as team leader and rookie on the Mother TF Team. Hard to believe these two once fell head over heels after that earthshaking kiss: the air between them is icy and tense.
Ji-hyeok, who ducked his head in the interview room, now watches Da-rim with a vengeful, laser-focused stare. She, meanwhile, is all nerves as her almost-boyfriend has become her boss. Their tit-for-tat already promises sharp banter and big laughs―he’s plotting to nudge her out, and she absolutely refuses to go.
“The Episode 3 airing today (Nov. 19) follows Ji-hyeok, stung by betrayal, as he launches a plan to make Da-rim resign,” the production team teases. “Watching them clash head-on―like spear versus shield―will be cute and swoony in equal measure. Expect pink sparks, fluttery hearts, and the irresistible chemistry of Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin, who are fully locked into their roles.”
Episode 3 of "Dynamic Kiss" airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. KST on SBS and is now streaming on Netflix.
