HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE just notched another personal best across Billboard’s key charts.
On the Nov. 22-dated charts, the group’s “Gabriela” jumps to No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, up two spots from last week, marking its 17th week on the chart.
The song is also surging at radio: “Gabriela” rises to a new peak of No. 13 on the Pop Airplay chart this week, underscoring KATSEYE’s growing stateside footprint and broad mainstream appeal.
KATSEYE’s sophomore EP, "Beautiful Chaos," continues its strong run. The set climbs eight spots to No. 35 on the Billboard 200, logging a 20th consecutive week on the tally. It also gains on Top Album Sales (No. 11) and Top Current Album Sales (No. 10), extending its 20-week streaks on both lists.
Their first EP, "SIS (Soft Is Strong)," released in September, re-enters the sales charts, returning at No. 38 on Top Album Sales and No. 31 on Top Current Album Sales, for 13 and 18 total weeks on those charts, respectively.
On Billboard’s global tallies, which rank songs using data from more than 200 territories, KATSEYE’s momentum holds steady. “Gabriela” places at No. 22 on the Global 200 and No. 18 on Global Excl. U.S., both for a 21st consecutive week. “Gnarly,” despite arriving over six months ago as a pre-release single, remains on the boards at No. 147 on the Global 200 and No. 152 on Global Excl. U.S., extending its run to 28 straight weeks.
Formed under HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s "K-pop playbook" and developed through HYBE America’s structured T&D (training and development) system, KATSEYE debuted in the U.S. last June. The group is nominated at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 1 for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
