Disney Plus is teaming up with local OTT platforms Tving and Wavve on a first-of-its-kind bundle in Korea, a move poised to shake up the country’s streaming landscape.

Disney Plus announced on the 18th that new bundle plans now give subscribers access to Disney Plus, Tving ― and even Wavve ― under one roof.

Launching Nov. 18, the two bundle options are designed for viewers feeling subscription fatigue. The all-in-one Disney Plus + Tving + Wavve Bundle (Standard) is priced at 21,500 won per month, offering about 37% savings compared to subscribing to each service separately.

The Disney Plus + Tving Bundle (Standard) is 18,000 won per month. Considering Disney Plus Standard and Tving Standard are 9,900 won and 13,500 won respectively, the two-service bundle delivers up to 23% off individual rates.

With the bundles, consumers can tap into a massive library spanning Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu; Disney Plus’ fast-growing slate of Korean originals; plus buzzy dramas, variety shows and entertainment hits from Tving, Wavve and CJ ENM ― all in one place.

Disney Plus will also act as a global distribution hub for Tving and CJ ENM’s K-storytelling. Beginning Nov. 5 via Disney Plus Japan, the platform started rolling out CJ ENM favorites like "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Reply 1988," alongside Tving’s headline-making original "Dear X," which premiered exclusively on Nov. 6. Roughly 60 titles are set to launch in phases, with more on the way.

“This collaboration marks a bold step for Disney Plus in Korea and a cornerstone of our APAC strategy,” said Tony Zameczkowski, senior vice president and head of Direct-to-Consumer for The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific. “We’re continually exploring innovative ways to expand our business and deepen connections with customers across the region.”

“By joining forces with Tving and Wavve, we’re broadening our platform reach and strengthening a richer content ecosystem to deliver even greater value to consumers,” he added. “We’re also excited to help bring outstanding Korean content to global audiences, and we hope this partnership sets a new cross-border standard for collaboration in streaming.”

Kim So-yeon, president of Disney Korea, noted, “This partnership not only increases the value we offer domestic consumers, it also reinforces our role as a bridge linking the creative power of local content with global viewers.”

Choi Joo-hee, CEO of Tving, said, “We’re thrilled to offer Korean users a smarter service by combining Tving and Wavve’s powerhouse K-content with Disney’s premium lineup. Tving will keep pushing forward with bold, innovative bets to deliver even more joy and emotion, backed by our strong content library.”
