EXID’s HYELIN hinted that a full-group comeback could be on the way.
During filming for Episode 34 of SBS Life’s occult talk series "Sinppal Talk", where she appeared as a guest alongside Golden Child’s LEE JANG JUN, HYELIN asked the shamans, “I’ve got a lot I want to do. Between musicals, an album, and DJing, what should I prioritize?”
Shaman Vivian Seonnyeo advised, “You should really focus on an album. I’m seeing a new track that brings back that rookie-era heartbeat―there’s a good chance the right song will find you.”
Hearing that, HYELIN revealed, “EXID has been talking. Around next year… there’s talk of a new song,” adding, “That’s wild.” She also wondered whether a high-energy anthem or a moodier, vibe-setting track would suit their next release.
Shaman Seol Yeonjiseolhwa weighed in: “Ballads are nice, but something flashier fits you better. One concern: your bronchial tubes tend to act up at crucial moments, so take care of that.”
