Former Super Junior member Kangin is launching a solo fan meeting tour overseas.
On Nov. 12, Kangin announced on social media the “2026 KANGIN FANMEETING TOUR: STUNNING TOGETHER.”
The post teased in English, “The comeback you’ve been waiting for. It took a long time, but it’s finally here. Kangin will embark on his first solo fan meeting tour next year,” and listed dates: Manila on Jan. 11, Ho Chi Minh City on Jan. 24, Mexico City on Jan. 28, Lima on Jan. 30, and Santiago on Feb. 1.
Kangin left Super Junior in 2019 following controversies including a DUI and an alleged bar altercation. He re-signed with SM Entertainment in 2023, launched a YouTube channel, and officially resumed activities last year through a paid fan community.
Reflecting on his return at the time, he said, “I don’t think a comeback is something I decide. Even saying ‘if I get the chance’ is difficult. I haven’t been able to forgive myself ― I was immature and repeated the same mistakes. I knew it was wrong then, and I still do. I’m not someone who’s on social media often, but I thought there might be fans who were curious, so I wanted to share a simple update. I do want to greet everyone with a lighter, more upbeat attitude.”
