TV personality Jun Hyun-moo turned his birthday into a giveback moment.
According to his agency SM C&C, Jun marked the day by donating 100 million won to the Yonsei University Health System, sharing the warmth in a very tangible way.
His contribution was directed to YUHS’s social service fund, which helps cover treatment costs for patients in financial hardship. The donation will prioritize medical support for children and teens battling cancer or rare diseases, as well as young adults transitioning out of foster care.
Jun has quietly built a steady record of philanthropy. In 2018, he gave 100 million won to support single mothers and joined the Community Chest of Korea’s Honor Society, and he’s continued to seek out causes in need ever since.
Even with a packed schedule, he shows up in person. A devoted animal lover, Jun has spent years volunteering at shelters for abandoned dogs and helping cover their veterinary bills.
By turning gratitude into action, Jun’s birthday gesture is a feel-good reminder of how star power can spark real change.
