For the first time, a mid-season pregnancy reveal has hit "I Am Solo"―and the mom-to-be is Season 28’s Jung-suk.
On the Nov. 5 episode of the SBS Plus/ENA reality series, producers dropped fresh clues about the expectant couple.
Earlier in the season, the show teased that among the “Divorced Singles” lineup, one pair had “an even bigger milestone than marriage”―they’re expecting a baby. The little one’s nickname is “Nasol-i,” a nod to the show’s title, and the couple was confirmed to be from the current Season 28 cast.
After weeks of fan theories, this episode finally unmasked the baby’s mom as Jung-suk―while keeping the father’s identity off-camera, turning up the mystery.
Ahead of final choices, contestants cashed in their “Super Date” passes. Young-soo, who won one, waffled between Hyun-suk and Jung-suk, frustrating everyone with his indecision.
He ultimately chose to use it on Hyun-suk―only for Jung-suk to play her own Super Date pass on Young-soo, hinting at a fresh twist in their triangle.
When the tag revealed Jung-suk as “Nasol-i’s” mom, hosts Defconn and Lee Yi-kyung couldn’t help but wonder: “So is the dad Young-soo?”
Online, eyewitness chatter has linked Jung-suk and Sang-cheol as a real-life couple, fueling speculation that they’re the parents. Now that Jung-suk’s confirmed, all eyes are on who the father is.
