"No Other Choice" keeps its hot streak alive on the global festival circuit.

At the 28th SCAD Savannah Film Festival, the film added the International Audience Award―coming on the heels of director Park Chan-wook receiving the event’s International Auteur Award.

The momentum has been building since its competition berth at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, the first Korean title to compete there in 13 years. At the Toronto International Film Festival, it picked up an international audience honor, while Lee Byung-hun was celebrated with a Special Tribute Award. Invitations to the New York Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival further cemented its prestige.

The accolades haven’t stopped there: Park earned Best Director at the Sitges Film Festival; he was honored with the Global Impact Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival, while Lee Byung-hun received the Artist of Distinction Award. Park also accepted the Precious Gem Award at the Miami International Film Festival. And at the Gotham Awards, the film scored three nominations, including International Feature, Adapted Screenplay and a lead performance nod―evidence of its swelling awards-season buzz.

Critics are on board, too. As reviews have rolled in, "No Other Choice" has maintained a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes across 78 notices.

With the U.S. awards-season push ramping up in December, this steady drumbeat of international wins only brightens its Oscars prospects.
