MIYEON of I-DLE kicked off promotions for her second mini album with a fan showcase fueled by nonstop cheers.
On Nov. 3 at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul, MIYEON hosted a release showcase for her new EP, "MY, Lover," performing every track live for the first time.
Framed as a heartfelt letter to fans under the theme “To. MY, Lover,” the event featured candid album talk, behind-the-scenes stories from content shoots and recording sessions, plus interactive segments like a “Physical Album Unboxing” and a fan Q&A titled “Say MIYEON’s Name,” building buzz for the new era.
Mid-show, I-DLE’s MINNIE and YUQI made a surprise appearance from the audience, sending the venue into a roar. “A little gift has arrived―we’ve been watching since the opening. Hope this gives you strength,” MINNIE smiled. YUQI followed with a bouquet: “You’re doing great. Let’s keep going!”
Against a giant heart-shaped screen that evoked a scene from a musical, MIYEON opened with “Show,” then rolled through all seven cuts on "MY, Lover"―co-writing “You And No One Else” and “F.F.L.Y”―along with pre-release track “Reno (Feat. Colde),” title track “Say My Name,” and b-sides “Petal Shower” and “Space Invader.” She closed with “Drive,” the lead single from her first mini album "MY," tying the storylines between the two projects.
“I’ll admit I was a bit ambitious,” MIYEON told the crowd. “With album releases, you don’t always get to perform every b-side―but this time I really wanted you to hear them all. The more I’m on stage with these songs, the more I love them. Thanks to NEVERLAND―my fans―for all the support. It gives me the strength to keep going. Thank you for coming, and please keep cheering me on.”
Right out of the gate, "MY, Lover" hit No. 1 on QQ Music’s Best-Seller Daily chart in China. Lead single “Say My Name” also reached No. 1 on Korea’s Bugs real-time chart and landed high on the Melon HOT 100, signaling a strong start.
From Nov. 5-11, MIYEON will greet fans at the "MY, Lover" pop-up store, “MIYEON 2nd Mini Album [MY, Lover] POP-UP,” at Atrium A on the first floor of Times Square mall in Yeongdeungpo.
