Ji Ye-eun stepped back into the spotlight after a brief hiatus.
On the Nov. 2 episode of SBS’s "Running Man," Ji returned to the show following a three-week break.
She rejoined the cast with a shy smile, and the members greeted her warmly: “You’re back and healthy―we missed you.”
Ji answered with a husky “hello,” her voice still on the mend.
Watching her, Kim Jong-kook shared, “We actually apologized to Ye-eun. The ‘double chin’ wasn’t about weight―it was related to her thyroid,” expressing regret over the misunderstanding.
Though Ji said she’s feeling better overall, her voice hasn’t fully bounced back yet, prompting concern from the cast. “It hasn’t been long, but it’ll improve,” she added, noting her recovery is ongoing.
