CGV announced on Oct. 31 that it will broadcast the 2025 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds) semifinals live in theaters across Korea starting Nov. 1.
LCK representatives kt Rolster, Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G, and T1 all cleared the Swiss Stage (Oct. 15?25) to reach the quarterfinals. Gen.G took the first quarterfinal on Oct. 28 against Hanwha Life Esports, and kt Rolster eliminated CTBC Flying Oyster on Oct. 29. That sets up a Gen.G vs. kt Rolster semifinal on Nov. 1. The fourth quarterfinal, taking place the afternoon of Oct. 31, will decide whether T1 books a spot in the semis.
Beyond the semifinals, CGV plans to carry every remaining match featuring LCK teams at major locations nationwide, giving fans the hype of wall-to-wall screens and theater-shaking sound.
Tickets and more details are available in the CGV mobile app.
