Rapper D.Ark (Kim Woo-rim), known from Mnet’s "Show Me the Money" and "High School Rapper," is under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of marijuana distribution and use.

Mokpo Police Station in South Jeolla Province executed an arrest warrant on Oct. 27 at the artist’s home in Nonhyeon, Seoul’s Gangnam District. D.Ark has denied the allegations.

His label GOD'S PLAN told local media that a field reagent test returned negative and that they are awaiting results from a more comprehensive lab analysis. The company added that D.Ark insists he has “never used drugs,” noting they regularly educate artists about drug prevention and had even discussed a “drugs are absolutely off-limits” policy with him the day before the arrest, saying they were blindsided by the development.

Born in 2004 in Yanji, Yanbian, China, the ethnic Korean Chinese rapper first drew attention at 14 on 2018’s "Show Me the Money 777." After learning of his arrest, his parents reportedly flew to South Korea and headed to the Mokpo Police Station.
