Former volleyball star-turned-TV personality Yohan Kim was taken aback when a panel of shamans predicted his marriage luck could lead to an unexpected wedding next year.
On the recently taped Episode 31 of SBS Life’s mystic talk show "Sinppal Talk", Kim appeared as a guest alongside comedian Shin Yoon-seung and asked, “When will I finally get a girlfriend?”
Gilsangam shot back, “You have zero desire to get married,” prompting Kim to admit, “My parents’ pressure has been getting intense.”
Namu Doryeong sized him up: “You’re meticulous and a bit particular―very straight-line. If you like someone, you confess even if everyone says she’s not for you. Then once you’re dating, you go, ‘This isn’t it,’ and lose interest. That’s why long-term relationships don’t stick.” Kim agreed, noting, “Even when people around me push back, I tend to follow my gut.”
Watching on, Sunhwadang said, “Your marriage luck kicks in this year―it’s the start of a good window to tie the knot.” Geulmun Dosa added, “As the cold winds roll in, it’s the beginning of a year when fated connections open up. But the luck just arrived, so it hasn’t fully ripened yet.”
Geulmun Dosa continued, “By May next year, you’ll know whether that luck has matured. I can see a sudden wedding. If the timing opens, you should just go for it.” Sunhwadang chimed in, “Don’t worry―he’s great at charging ahead,” sending the studio into laughter.
