I-DLE’s MIYEON leans into a love story gone dark.
At 6 p.m. KST today, she unveils the pre-release single 'Reno (Feat. Colde)' and its music video from her second mini-album 'MY, Lover,' kicking off her comeback in style.
Built on a moody electric-guitar loop and weighty drums, 'Reno (Feat. Colde)' captures the split second when affection curdles into obsession and everything spirals. Colde, known for his singular tone, guests on the track, his world colliding with MIYEON’s to amp up the song’s taut tension.
The video plays like a stylized Western noir, with MIYEON’s shape-shifting expressions―by turns vulnerable and unhinged―pulling you deeper into the narrative. Actor Cha Woo-min, seen in the Netflix film 'Love Untangled' and the series 'Weak Hero,' co-stars as her lover.
Ahead of the release, Cube Entertainment primed fans by rolling out 'Reno (Feat. Colde)' concept photos across I-DLE’s official social channels on Oct. 27 and 28.
The images spotlight love’s duality through stark contrasts: in one set, MIYEON stands amid swirling snow, dreamy and wistful; in another, she perches on a car hood in a black suit, her cool gaze radiating razor-sharp charisma.
Following 'Reno (Feat. Colde),' MIYEON drops her second mini-album 'MY, Lover' on Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. KST. The seven-track set includes title track 'Say My Name' alongside 'Reno (Feat. Colde),' 'F.F.L.Y,' 'Space Invader,' 'You And No One Else,' 'Petal Shower' and 'Show.'
