Another powerhouse on "The Ballad of Us", Song Ji-woo, is about to learn her fate.
Episode 6 of SBS’s music competition "The Ballad of Us", airing Oct. 28, keeps the unpredictable Round 2 rolling after the shock elimination of Round 1’s top finisher, Lee Ye-ji. All eyes are now on runner-up Song Ji-woo’s matchup ― and whether she survives the cut.
Song goes head-to-head with Kim Ji-won, an art student chasing a music career, in a “comfort”-themed ballad showdown ― setting up a duel between two tone-rich vocalists. Kim takes the stage first with Park Hyo-shin’s notoriously difficult “Breath,” a pick that stuns the show’s 100-member panel. She says she chose a song that once comforted her to deliver something heartfelt and honest.
Song counters with Jehwi’s “Dear Moon,” the beloved soundtrack from "My Mister" ― another track she leaned on for solace. Her pure, crystalline vocal reportedly left the Top 100 panel momentarily speechless after the final note. Can Song seal a Round 2 win?
