Choi Woo-shik bared his heart to Jung So-min.
On the Oct. 25 episode of SBS' Friday-Saturday rom-com 'Would You Marry Me,' Kim Woo-joo (Choi) finally confessed his feelings to Yoo Me-ri (Jung).
Me-ri’s ex, Jeon Woo-joo, showed up unannounced and pressed her about where things stood between her and Kim Woo-joo.
Mistaking the luxe apartment Me-ri is looking after as proof she’s working odd jobs, he scoffed, “So you’re picking up part-time gigs? Playing housekeeper, too?” Me-ri deflected: “It’s a friend’s place. It’s empty, so I’m staying here and keeping an eye on it.”
Convinced Kim Woo-joo owned the apartment, the ex demanded, “Who is he? Who’s dropping you off this late―are you seeing someone behind my back?”
Me-ri shut him down: “Cheating? You’re the one who cheated. Who I see is none of your business.” He pleaded that he finally understood why she was upset and tried to force an apology over his mother’s harsh words to Me-ri’s mom.
“Keep it,” Me-ri replied. “I don’t want your apology.”
Worked into a jealous rage, Jeon Woo-joo barged inside, accusing her of dating the owner―“That guy from earlier, right?” Afraid he’d spot a wedding photo of her and Kim Woo-joo, Me-ri killed the lights. In the chaos, he took a fall, claimed a fracture, and proceeded to milk the injury―insisting Me-ri take care of him.
Kim Woo-joo, excited to meet Me-ri, was left hanging when she forgot their plans―then watched, stunned, as she helped her ex down the street.
He stepped in to support the injured ex himself, unable to hide his irritation. When Me-ri asked, “Are you mad?” he answered, “Not mad―just not thrilled. Why didn’t you call me last night? Or at least earlier today?”
Me-ri explained she hadn’t wanted to ask him for yet another favor. That only pushed Kim Woo-joo’s jealousy to the surface: “After everything he did, do you still have feelings for him?”
Me-ri called out the mixed signals: “Weren’t you the one who told me to hold his hand the other day? So why are you upset now?”
That’s when Kim Woo-joo finally said it: “I must like you. I don’t like seeing you with another man.” The confession left viewers wondering what this means for their relationship going forward.
