Singer Park Bom of 2NE1 sparked a stir after posting what appeared to be a complaint against YG Entertainment executive producer Yang Hyun-suk on her social media. Her agency countered that no complaint has been filed and said she is currently focusing on treatment.
On Oct. 22, Bom uploaded a photo of a document naming Yang as the respondent, alongside a message in Korean urging the public and internet users to investigate what YG allegedly did to her. "Please look into what YG did to me," she wrote.
The document claimed Yang was being accused of fraud and embezzlement, alleging her earnings were withheld for an extended period and citing a purported amount of roughly "64272e trillion won"―a seemingly nonsensical figure that fueled further controversy.
On Oct. 23, D-Nation Entertainment said in a statement, "All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed," adding, "No complaint has been filed regarding the document posted on social media." The label also noted, "Park Bom has paused all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery. We will do our best to help her regain her health."
After sharing the complaint, Bom deleted the post and later re-uploaded it. About two hours after the repost, she shared a photo of her dog with what looked like lipstick around its mouth, drawing criticism for erratic behavior on social media.
Bom has been on hiatus since August due to health issues and previously drew attention for puzzling posts, including calling actor Lee Min-ho her "husband."
